As the summer days begin to wind down, the start of the 2026–2027 school year is fast approaching, and our entire team is filled with excitement for another fantastic year at Pine Island Public Schools! Whether you are welcoming your child to school for the very first time or guiding a high school senior toward graduation, we are thrilled to partner with you on this journey.

To ensure we continue providing the best possible education and environment for our students, we have a few exciting updates to share for the upcoming school year:
Updated Strategic Plan: We are proud to launch our updated strategic plan, which keeps our focus grounded in academic excellence, comprehensive student support, and continuous growth across all of our schools.
New Student Information System (Infinite Campus): We have officially transitioned to Infinite Campus. Through the new Infinite Campus Parent Portal, you will be able to easily log in to monitor your child’s grades, track attendance, and stay up to date on their academic progress.
Professional Learning Communities (PLCs): Our focus with PLCs centers on how well our students are achieving academically. Our staff will continue to learn how to use data to support student needs better—ensuring targeted intervention when a student is struggling, as well as enrichment opportunities to challenge and push students who have mastered the concepts. Your active involvement plays a vital role in your child's success. I encourage you to stay connected with our teachers and administration, attend district events, and get involved in the many volunteer and booster opportunities available throughout the year. We are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way with regular updates through our district website, newsletters, and primary communication channels so you can celebrate our students' achievements alongside us.
