Teacher Bio

Becky Collins

Becky is a native of Pine Island, graduating from Pine Island High School in 1983.  She has taught for the Pine Island School District since 1990. She attended Hamline University in St. Paul, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology, as well as a Masters of Arts in Education degree. Becky enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandson, Karsen.  Her other hobbies include reading, gardening, playing board games and attending concerts and theater productions.

Traci Bauer

Traci graduated college from MN State Southwest in Marshall, MN.  She received her Masters degree from Winona State University.  She has been teaching in Pine Island since 1994, and has taught grades K-2 over the years. Traci and her husband, Steve, have three boys, Ben, Noah, and Josiah. Traci enjoys supporting Pine Island athletes and when she is not doing that, does enjoy baking!

Shari Ellingsen

Shari graduated from Winona State University in 1984 with degrees in elementary education and specific learning disabilities.  She also obtained a Masters Degree of Education in 2010, from Hamline University. Shari lives by West Concord, MN with her husband.  She and her husband have two grown daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves to read and travel when she is able. She loves being a part of the Pine Island Educational community!


Kristina Pikula - Spanish Immersion

Kristina graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS in 2017 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Spanish. She participated in a language inter-exchange program in Madrid, Spain, in 2016. She has been teaching in Pine Island since 2018. Kristina loves teaching, languages, sports, art, and family and friends. Go Panthers! 

Amy Nielsen

Amy graduated from Winona State University in 2008 and then completed her Masters Degree through Winona State the following year while working at Rochester Public Schools. She worked in Rochester for two years before coming to Pine Island. She's been teaching in Pine Island since 2010 and loves working in her hometown. Amy and her husband, Cole, have two children, Gavin and Madison. They love to spend time outdoors! 

Stacie Dallmann

Welcome to Panther Country! Stacie has taught in Pine Island since 2015. She lives in the Oronoco area with her family.  She graduated from UW-River Falls.  She enjoys traveling, kayaking, biking, boating, and spending time with her family.
