Philosophy:
I want my players to be the best that they can be as
athletes, students, and people. A good program should
allow athletes to add to their strengths and talents.
The following list of player and team objectives sums
up what I feel is important in the game. If accomplished,
players will grow as athletes and as players in life.
Represent your team and school with pride and respect.
Treat players, coaches, and officials with courtesy
and respect.
Support your teammates.
Be on time and be prepared.
Always be honest.
Practice as you play.
The team objectives are also goals that apply to
me as a coach. I also want to continually further
my knowledge of the game by attending clinics, listening
and observing other coaches, and reading up on the
sport. I want to give my team new techniques and drills
to keep the game fresh and enjoyable.
