Mr. Brown teaches U.S. History 9 and World/Cultural Geography. He began teaching in Pine Island in 2005. Tony grew up in Zumbrota and attended college at St. Cloud St., RCTC, and Minnesota State Mankato, where he earned his Degree in Secondary Education-Social Studies and a Minor in Political Science. Mr. Brown is currently working towards his Master's in Education at Winona State University. He also coaches football and wrestling.

Mr. Stapleton is originally from River Falls, WI. He graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Social Science education. He has been married for three years and has a son. John is currently working towards his masters degree in Education through Winona State University. This is his fifth year teaching in Pine Island. He coaches football, and has also coached track and has been the student council advisor.

Mr. McPhail teaches World History 10 and Attitudes. He has been teaching in Pine Island for 23 years. Originally from Wisconsin, he graduated from UW-Eau Claire. Don taught and coached in Wisconsin for two years before coming to Pine Island. He is happily married with six children. He is currently working on his Masters Degree through Fort Hayes State University. He is also the assistant wrestling coach, and has coached track and football in past years.
